Indianapolis, Indiana | Newborn Photographer | In-home Lifestyle Session

November 10, 2018

First thing as I walked into Rachel and Bryan's house, Bryan asked if I wanted a coffee. HI DID WE JUST BECOME BEST FRIENDS? I had just picked one up on the way over, otherwise YEP.

They moved into this amazing house from New York and basically bought it over facetime, which is the best and really what moving to a new state can be like (we have moved states many, many times). My husband and I lived in Brooklyn for a year and I really felt like I belonged on the east coast, so hanging out with Rachel and Bryan during our session was great. I think half of the time I was there was just me talking their ears off, whoops sorry guys. I finally had to make myself leave and not just hang out on their bed like a reaaaal weirdo.

I always hear from moms about what a sh*tshow it was to get ready for their newborn pictures, but I swear I can never tell. Rachel looked so good and like she had the easiest morning. I actually just thanked her for having such a nice house and outfits and basically being pretty for my pictures. 🤣 "Hey, thanks for buying a house with such great natural light, makes my job much easier!"

Enough about the cute couple, how about this cute ass baby?! Asher (this name is on my baby name list, so they have great taste) was on Team No Sleep while I was there, but I am not mad at it because he has some big beautiful eyes.

I also think I need to find out where everything in the nursery is from so I can tag it for future clients. We even got their cat in a few shots, which is VERY HARD to do with most cats.  Professor Chubby Hugs III (real name) was a chill cat, so thanks for that sir!

Last thing- in the last picture, Asher is repping his grandpa's military jacket with their last name on it. SO COOL.
